In high school, Jerrid participated in traditional strength and training sessions. Later, from college until starting CrossFit, he did some bodybuilding and power lifting.
But two years ago, that changed. Jerrid was working in the Cities and asked a friend for help with his deadlift. The friend encouraged him to come to CrossFit, and he did.
“I saw the competitiveness and the camaraderie between the people,” Jerrid said. “I fell in love with it and the rest is history.”
When it comes to coaching, Jerrid enjoys being a part of making people’s days better.
“When the lightbulb turns on when people finally get a movement or something they’ve been working on, it makes my job rewarding,” he said.
